Video essay on interactive games by 90's music artists

This is a lovely video essay by Zephyr & Ramo on the strange and wonderful interactive projects released by many 90's music acts like Prince, David Bowie, Wu-Tang Clan, Björk and more.

The essay is in French but has English subtitles.

I have many fond memories of the Prince Interactive game, released in 1994. I played it on our Performa II and was blown away by being able to 'live in Prince's mind' for a few hours.

This deep dive goes into the motivations for the projects and acts as a lovely collection of visual elements and approaches from these projects. I also commend them on providing a deep list of sources on a companion page, something more YouTubers should do.
